The Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra are coming soon, it seems, with the number of leaks about them increasing in the past week. Now, the Ultra appears to have run Geekbench 7, achieving a single-core score of 2,980 and a multi-core score of 10,030. It's powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired in the specific prototype which ran the benchmark with 16GB of RAM, but of course we assume other memory options will be available upon launch. The device runs Android 16 and if it's coming in the next few weeks, may actually get that out of the box, despite the fact that Android 17 has been out for a while now.
Xiaomi and its sub-brands aren't known for quickly jumping onto new Android versions. The Poco F9 Ultra has been rumored to be a rebranded Redmi K100 Pro Max with a smaller, 8,050 mAh battery. The rest of the specs are expected to be identical, so it should have the same 6.9-inch 1200x2608 AMOLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate and 4,500-nit peak brightness, a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS and 5x optical zoom, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 32MP selfie camera.
