Google will roll out the Pixel 11 Pro in October 2027. The device centers on the Tensor G7 chip, which marks Google's second full cycle utilizing TSMC's manufacturing lines rather than Samsung Foundry. Moving to the 2nm process gives the Tensor line something it lacked for half a decade: parity in sustained gaming performance and battery efficiency alongside Apple and Qualcomm.

Camera hardware and local computing

The Pixel camera bar gets slightly slimmer. Google has re-engineered the periscope prism to lie flatter against the rear backplate while keeping a 5x optical reach. An updated 50MP 1-inch main sensor replaces the aging hardware used in earlier Pixels, paired with an ultra-wide sensor that doubles as an extreme macro lens down to two centimeters.

Software features will focus on real-time video manipulation. The Tensor G7 contains enough matrix multiplication capacity to run local video night sight directly in the viewfinder at 4K 60fps, bypassing the need to upload clips to Google's cloud pipeline for multi-frame processing.

  • Battery capacity lands at 5,200mAh with support for 35W wired charging and Qi2 magnetic charging.
  • Display uses an LTPO OLED panel scaling from 1Hz up to 144Hz for smoother animation scrubbing.
  • Google promises seven full years of Android OS upgrades and monthly security patches.

Expect a launch price of $999 in the US. Google has found steady sales traction at that tier, so the company is unlikely to push the baseline Pixel 11 Pro above the thousand-dollar mark.
